My students have 4 desktop computers in my classroom which they are able to use for some learning resources and games. However, having the use of a tablet really allows my students to navigate technology in a group setting as well as giving them access to thousands of learning apps that may not be as readily available on a desktop computer. I think the use of tablets allows my students to become more fluent and independent without some barriers they may encounter on a desktop. I can’t wait to create projects with them using various APPs that enhance their learning and deepen their knowledge of various concepts.
