Students will use dry erase boards to assist themselves during math instruction. These boards are used with an Expo marker and a cloth eraser. Students can erase what they have done without it leaving a permanent mark. Each day during math, students will take out their dry erase boards and follow along with the problems being presented (either by myself or another student) at the main whiteboard. I then walk around the room and see if students are making mistakes or confirm they are getting the correct answer. With these tools, I can immediately identify a misunderstanding and work with the student to fix the problem.
