In a hybrid learning model, students will attend class virtually and in school. Using the standing desk, I can teach and interact with classroom manipulatives and the white board while wheeling the desk around to record at different angels and in different parts of the classroom! Think story time on the carpet! Morning Meeting in front of the easel! Who wants to check out the fish tank? Interesting and exciting reading material will find its way into the hands of my first graders through educational magazine subscriptions. Students will receive the fun magazines in their home packets to read and explore with their family. When students are back in the physical classroom no more shared supplies. Each student will house their school supplies in the extra large pencil cases.
