My students will learn to use critical thinking skills to manipulate the robot to follow their commands. If they should fail in their early attempts, students will learn how to trouble shoot and solve problems to have the desired results. They will learn to compromise as they work with others in the classroom on a common goal - to manipulate the robot through a teacher designed obstacle course. My classroom is a safe place where students can experiment and make mistakes without criticism. In our technologically saturated world, children don’t have as many opportunities to work collaboratively and be sensitive to the ideas and talents of others. This is the goal I have for this project.

About my class
