Having flexible seating allows my students to be in a comfortable environment while learning. We all learn in a different way, some can learn by siting in a desk for hours, some need to be standing up in a high seated area, some students work better on the floor or on a wobble stool where they can move when they need to. By giving students an option on seating gives them the opportunity to take control of their learning and them learning what is best for them. I would love to give my students the opportunity to have a different learning environment than what they are use to. I want to show them that it is okay to feel the need to move around in order to stay focused in class, we are different and unique learners.

About my class
