My students are curious and eager to learn. They come from many different neighborhoods in a large urban area, and are both racially and economically diverse. They are excited to read! They love coming to the library, but as school finances dwindle, it has become more and more difficult to buy new books, as well as additional copies of books or replace worn out titles.
