Our inclusion class is made up of general and special needs inner city students in NYC. Many of these students are ELLs. They live in a high poverty neighborhood and most receive free meals through the school. These students look forward to coming into our building daily and are eager and enthusiastic about learning. These students learn best when lessons are engaging and interactive. For this reason we often incorporate the SMARTboard technology for students to become active in lessons, making them their own and more memorable. We have seen great results with our students through the use of this technology piece.
