I wish to expose highly motivated students to a wider range of multicultural literature. It would be great if those books are supported by audio and dictionary aids. To accomplish this, I selected three compelling e-books that reflect the cultural backgrounds of my students. For students to access the e-books, I need 10 basic Kindle readers that will facilitate the specific needs of English Learners who are reading below grade level, although possessing the aptitude and desire for great improvement. Students will take part in reading and writing workshops that will help them to analyze literature and produce response writings.
