In mathematics, we have different ways to solve a problem. Since math is visual, the document camera and printer will allow students to present their strategy and spark up a conversation with others who got the same answer but used a different strategy. Using these skills is beneficial in a collaborative environment and will strengthen presentation skills and teamwork. In addition, the doc cam allows students to depict their thinking process and gives others a starting point to think about how to solve a problem independently, giving them the "ah-ha" moment in their discovery phase. The presentation skills are not only used in mathematics but cross into other contents allowing the student to become more comfortable with all subjects.
