As a first-year teacher, I have been working hard to fill my classroom library. However, I still have empty spaces. I would love any sort of donation you can give as it will bring me one step closer to filling my classroom library by next school year! Your donation will help me give my students books that are engaging and support all types of readers. Students need books that are windows and mirrors. In other words, they need books that can help them reflect on their own experiences as well as the experiences of others. These readers also need choice. They need the ability to choose what type of book they want in a world where they are often told what exactly to read. Therefore, I need to have a wide range of books for my students to choose from. Any donation is a huge help, and I am so thankful that you are willing to support my students!
