My preschool students are from three years old to six years old and they are deaf just like me. They attend an ASL/English bilingual school of the deaf. They use American sign language to communicate socially and academically and learn English through written and reading, as well as speaking/listening. In school they develop their language through socializing and academic, experience the real world through lessons and activities, and learn preschool academic lessons.
