I recently attended a professional development class this summer that was about making test review fun! I am excited to try this out in my classroom for the 2018-2019 school year! I teach math and science at a Title 1 school. I know my kids will love to gamify their test review and I'm sure this will have built-in novelty and engagement. My plan is to use the 3 different games, Giant Jenga, Bean Boozled, and Egged-On when we are reviewing for our quarterly tests. Students will be placed in their game groups. As each student correctly answers a review question, they will get to play a move in their game. I plan on using these as rotations of about 15 -20 minutes and then switching so students have the opportunity to play all three games.
