One of the greatest needs in our society is that people value others and work together sharing ideas to solve problems innovatively and creatively. Students will be forming a variety of different sized groups daily and will need flexibility of seating and idea boards to work collaboratively then share these ideas with the whole group. We need a versatile classroom set up that is conducive not only for this group work, but for performances and presentations in front of the class. These stools, clipboards and idea white boards will encourage group work, yet, the ease in moving/stacking them around the room will create additional space for dramatic presentations, dance performances, and large art projects. Students will be challenged to work together and express themselves and their ideas creatively through the freedom that this non-traditional classroom set-up provides.
