"Every child deserves a champion: an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and isists they become the best they can possibly be." - Rita Pierson
As teachers our goal is to create life-long learners. As a Kindergarten teacher I feel that to the core. We are opening a brand new school this Fall. Although our building will be beautiful, I will be coming with very few classroom items. I have spent many years in Early Childhood Education and have decided this year to take the leap into Elementary Ed.
Although our school will be new, I am needing some basic classroom supplies to help get my Kinders the very best start possible. I have asked for some classroom manipulative to practice our math and language skills. Dry erase pockets will be essential in in working on phonics, spelling, and handwriting. We have also asked for a few flexible seating options to give my students the freedom to choose how they learn best.
Many of the students that will be entering my classroom this year will be English language Learners and for the most part, this will be the first experience in a learning environment. Please help us have a successful year of many firsts for all of us.
