We meet together daily on the carpet for whole-group instruction, calendar time, and to listen to stories read aloud. Although I have been borrowing a rug from a coworker, our class would love to have a comfy, colorful rug of our own! As a teacher in a low-income area, I want to provide a warm, safe space for my students to learn. I know having a defined space on the rug would help them focus and set them up for success! Plus it would make them feel special to have their own "space". Our funds have to be raised by November 1st, so I am hoping this will make an amazing Christmas present to the kids! Thank you so much for considering us!
