At my traditional high school, many of our 1000 students come from low-income families. Our school district has been affected by budget cuts. However, we have passionate teachers who donate much of their time outside of school hours learning new strategies and preparing effective lessons. They truly care about the students and work hard to reach them. We are seeing success in raising students' interest in education by meeting them where they are...socially, emotionally, and academically.

About my class
