Students enjoy working around the classroom, but often times can't get comfortable. This leads to less focusing and a longer time to complete assignments. With these different lap desks, they will have comfortable options to choose from each day. Each of these can easily be moved from location to location to assist in creating a space built on discussion within groups and sharing new ideas between learners. They will be able to make their own decisions making them feel in control of their learning. Hopefully, they will make good choices which will impact not only their fifth-grade year but will set the stage for the remainder of their education. I am also looking to start reading a picture book a day to my class and I thought this would be a great place to get started. Each book has a great lesson behind it that everyone will enjoy and learn from.
