The school has been a failing school for 8 years. The school district gave up on them and another entity has taken over and I was hired in with a large group to give the whole school a fresh start. These students need to feel like we believe in them and we know that they WILL achieve anything they desire. The 100 year old school building is getting totally revamped with new windows, fresh coats of paint, and computers in the classroom. Our hope is that the students will walk in in September with a whole desire to achieve and a willingness to do their best. There have been a lot of problems in the past that we all want to put in the past so we can transform the future.

About my class
