Kindergartners like to move! The outdated furniture that we currently use in our classroom does not allow for much movement. Students sit at traditional desks with traditional chairs. With wobble stools and ball chairs, students can be kids and move while learning! And it's no surprise that physical activity is linked to higher academic performance, better health, and improved behavior. The benefits of flexible seating are many! In addition to the above, flexible seating allows students to feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment. Flexible seating provides a more active, engaged, enthusiastic, and relaxed room of students.
