One major result that we are seeing in our community and our students affected by the lead poisoning from the water crisis is decreased attention span. This result is GREATLY affecting our students' ability to learn and process information. This flexible seating options including floor seats, bean bags, balance balls and cushions will help my students move and expend energy without being distracting to themselves or others around them and ultimately help them learn better. The different seating choices will allow the students to freely choose what area helps them learn best! Not only will the movement and flexibility of the seating help my students learn, but how amazing is it to be a decision maker as a kindergarten! The flexible seating will make the classroom more inviting, exciting and overall a better place to learn.
