Please help me give my students the necessary learning materials for distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My kindergarten students are going to be required to stay six feet apart, wear masks, and not share supplies. I want to build individual tool kits for use at home, to support math (counting, addition, subtraction, more/less) and literacy skills (writing, drawing, and letter formation). My goal is to create a binder filled with the tools they will need to use at home for any recorded, live zoom, and assigned lessons. What I have learned from teaching online this spring, is my students do not have the correct supplies to make learning possible at home. I want to ensure equitable access to school supplies to promote learning. In order for the delivery of curriculum and instruction online to be equitable all my students need to have the resources at home available to them. Having these supplies at home will make the learning valuable, exciting, and possible for all of my students.
