The furniture that I am requesting for my classroom will help me create a safe, engaging, and relaxed environment for my students. In order for students to learn, they need to first know that you care about their individual needs and what helps them do their best work. Each year that I have taught, I have struggled with accommodating students who have a difficult time concentrating. Our classes are 90 minutes long. For anybody, sitting that long for several classes a day would be a challenge; however, some have additional adversities such as ADHD. I want to offer my students an outlet. This flexible seating option would be an opportunity for students to learn in a way that best suits their diverse needs. By funding this project, you can help me to ensure that my students have what they require to meet their needs in a room where they feel cared for and can focus on their education.
