These literature titles will become the basis for my third grade classroom library. Having just moved from Kindergarten to third grade, I have plenty of literature for my emerging readers, but have a scarcity of material for my on level and gifted students. These books will be essential for my students. Daily reading is an imperative for the students in a third grade classroom. Only by reading high quality, engaging literature at the appropriate level can the students increase their reading level. Students will be reading daily in class and at home.
