This school year, I will switching from teaching fifth grade to first grade. While this is a huge change, I am very excited for this new opportunity. In my new classroom, I want to provide my students with a relaxing, comfortable environment. This classroom transformation will provide the ultimate learning experience for my students. There's a lot of talk about flexible seating and how it can be used in a classroom. First graders are little people in constant motion and with short attention spans. Asking them to sit in one spot all day is next to impossible. I would like to eventually provide all students will a flexible seating options within the classroom. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The wobble stools are adjustable and will allow students to sit at desk/higher tables but will still allow some movement. These wobble chairs and ball seats will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out.
