As a first year teacher, I am just now beginning to create my classroom library. It is important that my 2nd graders have different kinds of books to choose from in order to get excited about reading! Starting the school year with a classroom library is extremely important. I will use these books to provide opportunities for my students to read independently or to enjoy reading with a partner. I will also use these books for read alouds during story time. My goal is to give my 2nd graders enough books from different areas of interest to help them develop a love for reading. Thanks in advance!
