These items will help meet some of my students' sensory needs by giving them an opportunity to stimulate some of their senses as they're working. A lot of my students are sensory seekers who like to move around and touch different materials as they're working. But currently, the seating arrangement I have for my students is inflexible and doesn't allow for them to get those sensory needs met. These chairs will help my students meet their sensory needs while getting their work done simultaneously. (Their ELA, science, social studies and math work which I'll be teaching) Theses chairs will also give my fifth graders an opportunity to engage in some meta-cognitive work and conversations about how they learn best.
