Science World magazine is an excellent addition to my classroom. My students love reading the high interest STEM related articles. It is especially important for students who are early finishers or who need a little something extra to do. I also use the articles as a class to discuss current real world science related issues. The magazines also address careers in science and technology. Reading is an incredibly important skill to master, and practicing reading with different types of materials such as magazine articles is a great strategy. My students always look forward to reading when the new issues are delivered.
