My students really enjoyed having a fun day of snap circuits as a STEM activity. We made the introduction of the snap circuits a family affair. Parents came in and helped the students maneuver the circuits. It was a big hit for the students and the parents as well. The snap circuit activity has become a part of our daily centers. In an effort to keep my students interested in coding, I thought the Ozobots would be an exciting experience for my students to step up their skills. These golf ball-sized Ozobot can see colors; follow lines and mazes; detect intersections on paper and screens; and be programmed to move, play, and dance. Ozobot uses a code of multicolored blinking lights. My students would really benefit from exploring these bots. Above all, they will sharpen their problem-solving skills which will be effective in all subject areas.
