Our students need access to updated technology in order to become 21st century learners. Currently, we don't have enough devices for our classroom and the computers we do have often break or don't start correctly. This results in students waiting for me to fix devices instead of teaching. New Chromebooks will help our students access individualized and blended learning in the classroom. They will provide an opportunity for students to research additional topics that interest them and relearn material that they are still mastering. Students love using their devices to explore math lessons through Khan academy, science lessons in Brainpop, and reading through MacEnvia. More devices would enable students to have more time to explore throughout the day.
