Having a classroom rug will bring us all together as a classroom community. Students need to come together on the carpet at several different points in the day. They’re more focused and happier when we are all learning together down on the carpet! Our reading program is planned around circle time for phonics, teacher directed reading, writing mini lessons and “show me” math activities. These special times during the day are especially beneficial to students with attention issues. Please help me turn my classroom into a cozy, comfy community by funding my Donors Choose project!
