As a humanities teacher, my job is to share the love of reading and writing with my students. When students find books that they love, they are more motivated to read and comprehend books that they may not find as exciting. I believe that when my students see characters and authors of books that they can relate to, their passion to read will grow much more! Our goal by the end of each school year is to make at least 1.5 years of growth . With your help, I believe we can achieve this goal and, hopefully, go above and beyond expectations!

About my class
