Our 9th graders have limited access to technology, as well as hard copies of various books. They are hard workers and could really benefit from technology and literature in the classroom! have a lot of students that are new to the system this year. As ninth graders, every student is new to the high school. It is my first year at the school too, so we are navigating the new waters together. It is my goal to get these freshmen accustomed to the policies and protocols of high school. My students are eager to learn, but suffer in the classroom from a lack of technology and resources. Having a laptop for presentations will also give them an opportunity to develop te confidence to present and talk in front of their peers. They would also benefit greatly from hard copies of various books we will be reading this year.
