I am asking for funding for educational board games. These games align to the second grade curriculum and provide competitive fun for students to practice new skills being taught. They can be used in math and literacy centers as well as in small group reading and math instruction to target specific learning needs. I strongly feel the best way for children to learn is through engaging and rich activities which these educational board games can provide. They work well for students to practice new skills as they are being taught as well as a spiral review throughout the school year.
