How often do students get the opportunity to take control of their learning by creating ideas and seeing them through!? The Sphero balls, Makey Makeys and Dash + Dots will ignite creativity. Students can actually code the Sphero Ball to paint a masterpiece. With student input the Dash + Dots can be coded to move on a designed path through the classroom. The Makey Makey adds humor to science by giving students the ability to make inanimate objects (a banana!?) talk. The possibilities for our STEM lab are engaging, exciting and endless with these materials. Through imagining, planning and creating students will take concepts from start to finish and be well on their to developing engineer mindsets to last a lifetime.
