Student voice refers to the values, opinions, beliefs, perspectives, and cultural backgrounds of individual students and groups of students in a school, and to instructional approaches and techniques that are based on student choices, interests, passions, and ambitions. I want to make sure I give my students an opportunity to share their voice. I am writing this project for an iPad to help students use creativity through, drawing, writing, and creating. The Osmo kit will allow them to practice math and writing skills. They can also use creativity with the Osmo Masterpiece and Tangram games. Osmo masterpiece allows students to do open-ended drawing or use a guide. Students get to choose. They will use iPad apps to share their opinions, beliefs, and stories. They will author a book using the iPad. They will also us Apple clips to create short videos about themselves and in response to various texts. We will use the "Everyone Can Create Curriculum for iPad" to add videos to math, music in social studies, and drawing in science. I will be able to follow my students' passions and interests through the use of technology.
