The mobile dry erase board is essential to learning in my classroom. It is used for direct, intensive instruction in reading, writing, and math. The mobility of it will allow me to roll it into general classrooms or hallways to do intervention with my students on IEP's. For example, every day, I display the phonics strategies of the week that students need to use for practice as they are learning to read and spell. It will also be used to show needed visuals of mathematics examples for my students on IEP's. The individual Boogie Boards will really get the students boogie-ing as they practice their letters every day. My students don't learn like the typical students, and they need to use all of their senses to learn. The Boogie Boards allow them to use their sense of touch and sight as they say and hear the letters and the letter sounds as they are practicing them. It really works!
