My students will be so very thankful to have a warm place to sit while learning in our room. The floor is on the basement level of the building and is cold, especially in the winter. I teach in a district where most of my students come from lower income families and have so much to deal with on a daily basis in their home life. I want our class to be a place that my students look forward to coming to. These children deserve to have a safe and comfortable place to come each and every school day to learn and grow.
