On an everyday basis technology is used worldwide in schools, businesses and many more locations. Although traditional teaching using a white board and markers is effective, students need to be engaged in other ways. With tablets, students can participate in math games that review the skills that they need more practice in like using Moby Max. It will engage student learning in the classroom and increase students drive to learn. In order for my students to be prepared for the future that is so technology based, they need the chance to utilize it in the classroom. It will engage student learning in the classroom and increase students drive to learn. These tablets will be used as one of literacy centers and math centers. For reading, the students can read articles about topics we are learning about like animals, weather disasters and different cultures. Students can then answer questions about these topics or do research projects for the classroom. For my ESL and low students who struggle I can provide them with learning apps that work on phonics in reading. Instead of reading traditional paper books students can read books online as another option. Technology is a great tool to use, I just want my students to have to opportunity to utilize it.
