My goal with flexible seating is to provide areas for students to work and learn in the best environment for them. I want my students to take responsibility for their learning by making choices on where they will sit to learn each day. The Runtz ball chairs and Bouncy bands are for students who need movement. An added benefit of these chairs is improving the child's core strength. Also, I want students to have the choice of a comfy pillow for reading when it's independent reading time. It'll be a great new year with some alternative seating in my classroom.
