In first grade a generous amount of time is spent each day on developing skills to read and write. Phonics is the foundation that provides the students this opportunity. Rime Magic will give me the opportunity to enhance students' reading and comprehension abilities. Students will learn strategies to effectively decode and comprehend what they are reading while working collaboratively with me and their peers. Rime Magic and the magnetic letters will allow me to provide specialized instruction to meet the unique learning needs of all my students which is most beneficial to the students with exceptionalities and English language learners in my class. When my students are able to create and build words with hands on activities they are engaged and focused on learning. Rime Magic and the magnetic letters will provide me with the chance to help children with all learning abilities to be successful in developing the skills needed to become amazing readers!
