I teach at a Title One, low-income school district in Mississippi where about 85 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. I am looping with my students from first to second grade, so I know what an awesome bunch of learners they are. My students come to school with enthusiasm and excitement for learning. My goal is to be creative in heightening their learning experience through research, hands-on opportunities, and collaboration.
