Kindergarten students are so eager and excited to be in school learning new things, but a lot of times they have a hard time sitting still. Flexible seating helps students to be able to have the freedom of choosing where to sit that will best suit their needs when learning. When students get to choose their seat, they are building the ability to start learning how they best learn. My students will be able to sit on the floor and use clipboards in their learning, they will be able to sit higher up on a stool or they will be able to use a bucket chair with a comfy cushion seat. There will also be stability balls they can use which help with focus and attention as well as releasing some energy. There will also be some chairs for students to use if they choose to do so. Students will benefit from these options knowing that they had the choice to chose how they learn best.
