With your help my students will be given more opportunities to explore learning in a variety of ways. As of now my students enjoy using floor pillows to lay down and make stories come alive. They love being given a choice to choose where there learning will take place. Since I have allowed my students to choose, I have seen a positive change in not only the work they produce, but also in their attitude for learning. Since every child learns differently it is my mission to give them every opportunity I can to help them find out how they learn best. I am asking for 4 wobble stools that will allow me to put one at each of our tables. Students will be given an opportunity to use the wobble stool at least once a week, if they choose to. I want to use the floor seats during both independent work and stations. They will allow students another way of working on the floor. Having the wobble stools and floor seats will give my learners more opportunities to find out how they learn best.
