I teach at a Title 1 school - some of our families don't have the ability to put their student in weekly piano lessons which can cost upwards of $25 per lesson. Here is where our Skyline Piano Program comes in! We will be offering a class during the school day for students to learn Piano. These classes give students the opportunity to have FIVE piano lessons each week at no cost to them. Imagine the young musicians we can reach! Lessons will be taught as a group and students will get to practice and progress at their own pace. Our hope is that this experience can open doors for our students to explore other avenues in music in the future. They could easily take their Piano skills and transition into Choir, Band, Orchestra or community groups. Every student deserves the opportunity to be introduced to this versatile and beloved instrument.
