Our fashion design students come in all shapes and sizes. Whether they are creating garments for a model or themselves, it's important to have the right tools. This fall we attempted to make our own duct tape dress forms. We carefully researched and followed all the instructions and the results were less than perfect. As their skills have grown, it has become more critical for them to have professional dressmaking mannequins. We have noticed that garments made on the homemade forms frequently have a poor fit and are very limiting. What has no limit is their imaginations. Please consider donating to our fashion design program to help these students take their skills to the next level.
