About my class

Imagine a learning environment where Kindergarten kiddos of all shapes and sizes could come together and learning could thrive! A place where movement is encouraged for small children who love to wiggle, tap, roll, kick, and bounce. A place where the ever-growing amount of students who have ADHD, ADD, and sensory challenges could have a seating choice to help them be able to better focus. A place where a students could learn how to make their own good choices! I’d love to be able to create this classroom environment for my class. The requested materials would help me to provide a variety of flexible seating options. The large area rug would be a central place for us all to come together, to grow as a family, to engage in mini lessons, to have morning meetings, to learn, to share, to ask questions, and make new discoveries! The yoga balls, bean bag chairs, stability cushions, lap desks, and pillows would all come together to provide students with a variety of choices to enhance their learning, promote focus, and provide a fun student-centered classroom! Any donation would be appreciated and be a huge blessing for us! Students will be so excited to benefit from a learning environment where they feel “in control” and where they don’t have to be intimidated by perfectly arranged desks in rows.
