These materials will make learning more engaging and exciting for my students. Students will use clues and equations to open the locks to reveal more clues inside the toolbox that will aid them in opening the locking pouches. Inside they may find a prize or some kind of artifact to a bigger puzzle. The different style locks that I chose for this project will allow me to use different types of clues, math equations, and ciphers to engage my students in a variety of subjects. The hasps will allow me to put multiple locks on the toolbox to make the learning game more challenging. The locking pouches will add another element to the challenge because my students will think that they have completed the challenge but to their surprise they will have one more obstacle to overcome.
