I am requesting 2 iPads, along with protective cases for my special education classroom. These iPads will allow my students to use apps specifically created for helping them develop their math and reading skills in different ways. There are many apps available that would give my students access to basic skills in a different way. Many of my students struggle with basic math and reading strategies. Having iPads available will help them be able to work independently on strengthening these skills through learning apps, while I work one-on-one with other students. This will make a difference in their learning because they will be getting more individualized instruction.
