Wobble active chairs encourage movement that stimulates learning. My third grade students enjoy using technology at this Title 1 school, but the regular hard plastic chairs make increased focused during reading and writing time on our devices difficult. Our hope is to provide 7 wobble active chairs for students who demonstrate lack of focus and attending difficulties. This would provide one-third of my students with a flexible chair. Each wobble active chair will move with the student as they work in centers and at their desk. The 18” height allows for feet to be flat on the floor and both desk and table reach to be at the correct height to allow for ‘best’ handwriting and use of technology devices. Please fund this project and help these students become more engaged learners.
