Flexible seating give students a choice that allows them to work around the room comfortably and focused. Students do their best work when they are comfortable. I plan to use these items and give the students a choice of where they want to sit around the room during indepedent work time. The exercise balls are an additional seating options that will help students who have the wiggles when sitting in a regular chair. The floor cushions will allow for comfortable floor seating for the students. All of these options are light weight and can be moved around the classroom for different options. With these great seating options I hope to see an increase in good behavior, and that the students are able to get more work completed because they are comfortable in the classroom.
